FDR LIBRARY HOSTS WORLD'S FIRST

The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum in Hyde Park, NY hosted the world's first "Calendar-Signing," with DRIVING WITH FDR calendar author, Stefn Lonce, on Sunday, August 14, 2011, which was Social Security's 76th birthday.

There were 2 birthday cakes at the 8/14/11 FDR Library "Calendar-Signing" and 76th Birthday Party for Social Security, which the PASTRY GARDEN bakery in Poughkeepsie, NY baked and donated. THNX 2 Pastry Garden owners Stephanie and Tony Principe! Stefan Lonce designed the decorative icing for both cakes, with 10 differences between the 2 cakes; CLICK HERE for a slideshow of the 2 cakes, and a flyer with the answer key and Stefan Lonce's story, "Social Security Preserved My Family," which was published in the new book, A Promise to All Generations: Stories and Essays About Social Security & Frances Perkins.
